As the year 2020 drew to a close, basketball gaming apps continued to engage users across Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides insight into the performance of the top basketball games during the fourth quarter. Here's a roundup of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball, published by Electronic Arts, showed a consistent trend in downloads starting with 66K in late September and peaking at 80K in mid-October before settling at 44K by the year's end. The weekly active users began at 558K and saw a gradual decrease to 446K. Revenue trends fluctuated, starting at approximately $4.6K and ending the quarter at $4.6K, after a dip to $2.3K in early December.

2K's NBA 2K Mobile Basketball Game experienced a surge in downloads in mid-December, reaching 10K from a starting point of 5K in September. Weekly active users saw a modest increase from 18K to 20K. Revenue peaked dramatically in early December at $7.5K before falling back to $1.7K.

Miniclip.com's Basketball Stars™: Multiplayer showed a steady performance in downloads, maintaining between 32K and 55K throughout the quarter. The game's weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 244K to 173K. Revenue saw a slight decline from $1.6K to under $1K by the end of December.

Another 2K title, NBA 2K20, had a relatively low number of downloads, hovering around a few hundred each week, but saw a spike to 1.8K in late November. Weekly active users remained below 600 for most of the quarter, ending at 568. Revenue trends were modest, with the game earning between $1.1K and $1.5K through the period.

For SLAM DUNK from TV Animation, the game saw a massive initial download count of 85K in its release week, which then sharply declined to 1.5K by the end of December. As the game was released in late 2021, there is no revenue data before November 16.
